Mary Ann TANDY, born in 1868 in the parish of Winchcombe, Gloucestershire[1], married Richard ROBERTS (born abt. 1867, Bath, Somerset) in the parish of Winchcombe in 1891[2].
In the 1891 Census of England and Wales, Mary and Richard (a 'Railway Clerk') are recorded as living at Beckford, Gloucestershire, a few miles from Alderton where Mary grew up but a few year later they moved to Yorkshire.
In the 1901 Census of England and Wales, Mary and Richard are recorded as living at Croft Terrace, Oakworth, Yorkshire with their 4 children; Alfred, Charles, Walter and Florence.
At the time of the 1911 Census, 2 April 1911, Mary and 6 children are recorded as living at 13 Rosebery Street, Oakworth, Yorkshire.
Richard and Mary had the following children:
